HOW TO SET UP A CUSTOM DOMAIN IN BLOGGER – THE RIGHT WAY!

 

To setup your domain name in blogger firstly you will need to register a domain name. You can use any registrar you like, but I prefer GoDaddy and in this example I am going to show you how to do this using GoDaddy.

Okay, now that you’ve got your domain registered. so it’s time to put it to use on blogger. its very simple just follow my steps, thats are-

STEP 1:

Go to Settings > Publishing > Custom domain

click on custom domain

 

STEP 2:

 Enter your domain name you have registered including "www" and click save. you will see a red error and important information, its a normal.

 

you have see the error on red color, don't be worry

 

STEP 3:

Now you have to login into your domain register site, in my case i will have login in GoDaddy. and go to DNS Manager then click on edit button same as on given image.

Then go to blogger and copy text, shown as image

 

Then click on save button. after then go back to blogger and copy another text as on image

 then goto Godaddy again and click on edit button for set another cname.

 then

then go back on blogger for copy another and last text

And paste that value on Points to.

 Then click on save button. and you have done.

Note: it takes some time to redirect your blogger url to your domain name.
